While satellite images can provide more information than a conventional photograph, they are time consuming to produce
One of the most common types of satellite images is the Landsat image
Landsat images commonly depict features, on the Earth's surface, using false colours

Line drawings and sketch maps
Line drawings are illustrations which are made from a photograph
Field sketches are drawings made in the field
Sketch maps are simplified illustrations of an area, which are drawn from a directly overhead perspective
Sketches and drawings are efficient ways of describing and recording information
